Delete your Proudoo account
Proudoo (formerly Chorbit) is a family chore app published on Google Play. You can delete your account and your family's data at any time, from the app or by email.
Option 1 — In the app (immediate)
- Open Proudoo and sign in as a parent.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Deletion happens straight away. Children do not have their own accounts; their profiles are managed by the parent.
Option 2 — By email (if you no longer have the app)
Write to support@proudoo.app from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. We delete the account and confirm by email within 7 days.
What is deleted
If you are the only parent in your family, deleting your account erases the whole family:
- your sign-in account (email and password)
- your children's profiles (first name, birth year, avatar)
- quests, completions, coins, streaks, rewards, wishes and the coin bank
- quest photos
- activity history
- the push-notification tokens of your family's devices
If another parent shares your family, only your own account, your membership and your devices' notification tokens are deleted. The family and the children's data stay with the other parent, who can delete them the same way.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Backups: our hosting providers keep short-term automatic backups for recovery. Deleted data disappears from them as they expire on their normal schedule; we never restore deleted accounts from them.
- Error reports: technical crash reports held by our error-monitoring provider expire automatically after a limited period.
- Nothing else is kept after deletion.
